9/9/2020. NEW PAPER! Our new paper in Molecular Ecology Resources is the cover article- “Building a global genomics observatory: Using GEOME (the Genomic Observatories Metadatabase) to expedite and improve deposition and retrieval of genetic data and metadata for biodiversity research.” This exciting new resource allows scientists to upload their sample metadata to GEOME, which then automatically generates NCBI submission files, linking the two simultaneously and facilitating biodiversity science and reproducibility. Paper can be found here https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/1755-0998.13269 and a new blog post about GEOME written by The Molecular Ecologist can be found here https://www.molecularecologist.com/2020/11/geome-is-putting-genetic-data-in-its-place/
